What's the Count?

How many times have I gone to the Embassy and nada? Well, my attorney, RM, went to the Embassy this morning. She received the #1 card. Yeah! She called and let me know and I was optimistic that things would go well. Remember, she then reports back at 9 a.m. to actually go into the Embassy. She calls at 8:45 a.m. and says that they won't let her in, saying that they will call her number out when it is time for her to enter. I have insisted that she be IN the Embassy by 9 a.m. and so she was pushing for that. They finally allow her to enter but receive Person #2 first instead. She calls me at about 9:55 a.m., telling me about them seeing person #2 and then she says that she left. I said, "Who left?" thinking she meant the person at the Window. She said SHE left. She said she had an appointment at 11 a.m. and she had to prepare for the appointment and so she couldn't stay. Sorry. I am SO bummed out. She asked me to go with her on Monday morning (remember, they don't accept this paperwork on a Friday). So, I'll have to spend another US$100 (that I don't have to spend on things like this) at least to go with her on Monday. Lord, have mercy on me. I am angry. I am bitter. I am frustrated. Lord, what are you trying to teach me here?
