Movement Monday--UPDATED!

Original Post:
We had two pieces of positive movement today. I'm way pooped and have loopy eyes from the patch so I will share tomorrow. Thanks be to God for the good things that happened today!
Yawn..... Good night!

UPDATED information:
HG and I left our house again as the sun rose yesterday morning. HV and HM stayed home with HA and A again. Our first stop was the US Embassy. SUCCESS! They accepted our paperwork--finally. I, of course, asked about scheduling the DNA appointment and they told me they would email me. I called them once I got back to RM's office, leaving a message asking for the appointment to be scheduled asap--this week, hopefully. I did receive a call back, stating it would take them 48 hours to review the paperwork that they have already reviewed for a couple of hours and received. Whatever. I have lined up the lab to process the results asap already and then we will be set. So, the 48 hours ends tomorrow. I expect to hear from them by tomorrow morning and so please pray that they will allow the appointment to be scheduled between Thursday of this week and Monday of the next. I submitted to them the letters from the 3 doctors, stating her file should be expedited in all aspects of the case, allowing HG to come home with us as soon as possible. She cannot receive the adequate help here.
The other movement was in Family Court--WE ARE OUT! Yeah! Now, this doesn't mean we are coming home immediately, but it is GREAT news. The social worker had said last week that she would have the report ready on Monday/yesterday. HG and I went at 1 p.m. and DG, my attorney, arrived closer to 2 p.m. The social worker, however, knew that HG and I were there because she saw us in the hallway. She told DG that she wasn't done with the report but if we waited for 1 hour, she would be done. DG didn't want to wait, but he wanted to return today/Tuesday instead. I didn't like that plan and told him that I wasn't going to leave. About 2:45 p.m., the social worker came back out and told me that she was done but she was waiting for DG to come back. Like he promised, he returned about 2:55 p.m. He was back in her office for a few minutes and so I was afraid that she wasn't able to get it done but she did. YEAH! So, now the file will be submitted to the PGN, the final reviewing body of the case, today. The PGN will issue an opinion on the case, favorable or unfavorable. Getting an unfavorable opinion does NOT mean that it is over. It simply means that they are requesting additional information or need clarification on something. I know that our first opinion will be unfavorable because we need a document from the Embassy that we cannot get until after the DNA is done. That's why I am insisting that the appointment be done asap. The hope is that the PGN will give the file an adequate review, letting us know if there is anything else they need besides the document from the Embassy. That way, when we resubmit with the Embassy document, we will be able to correct any other mistakes and be DONE! Please pray that the reviewer will indeed give the file a thorough review, not just giving us the unfavorable opinion for the lack of the Embassy document.
HG and I did a little grocery shopping at Hiper Paiz/WalMart on the way home. We all went to bed a bit early, pooped from the day.
That's the complete wrap up from yesterday. Good news. Definitely good news.
