I Needed That

As I've commented before, HG and I shower together, sleep together, go potty together--you get it. At night, I give her the pachita, holding it for her while I hold her. Before the pachita, we say a little prayer and snuggle for a few minutes. She typically finishes the bottle, lays her head on my chest for a few minutes, and then makes it known by trying to roll out of my arms that she is ready to lay down in the bed now. Tonight, however, she fell fast asleep in my arms. She hasn't done that in a week or so at least. I needed that tonight.


HG has been into kissing us--on the lips. For those of you that remember watching the videos in August 2008, you saw how much of an aversion she had to anything touching her mouth, etc. She has been allowing me to kiss her on the lips, but she hasn't come to me for me to kiss her--until today. Now, she doesn't really pucker up nor does she make a "smack" sound with the kiss, but she swoops in, touching her lips to yours. It's very sweet.

Oh, sweet "Big Girl!" I'm so sorry to have to leave. We will be back--I promise! PRONTO!
