Dryer Sheets

Before leaving, Purex had recently come out with a new product that is the laundry detergent and dryer sheets all in one. I figured that would be an easy way to travel with detergent and so we bought some to bring along (yes, they sell detergent here but I was trying to bring as much as I could). We often dry the clothes, especially sheets and towels, outside on the clothes line here

but if I do dry the clothes in the dryer, HG always finds the dryer sheets. She loves them. They are a bit softer than normal dryer sheets. And thicker too. She loves to cuddle with one, smelling it often. When we leave the house, I often ask if HG has her dryer sheet. HV and HM sort of laugh, but that little thing provides comfort and happines to HG and so it's good. In fact, she's napping right now with one from me washing the "whites" yesterday!

This, of course, is post nap but still hanging on to her dryer sheet. Doesn't she look good? The change in her facial expressions during the last few days is tremendous. She is spontaneously smiling for these pictures, saying "Cheese!" No, it's not that clear, but you definitely know that's what she is saying. The cleaning lady came today to do the bathrooms. She told me that HG is muy intelligente. Yep, she is.

We are feeling better today. Not 100%, but better. I've had a hard time getting HG's fever to break. We've been alternating Tylenol and Motrin and I think we've got it down now. She doesn't act like she feels bad, just sleepy. I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers for us while we are here, especially since we are sickies. HM hasn't coughed since yesterday, so that's great. Now, if HG and I could just turn the complete corner.

Off to buy more minutes for the cell phone. I was talking to J this morning and I lost her. When I called to check my balance, I have about 70 centavos which would be about 10 cents.
