4th of July Visitor and Fun!

We've done so many things since my last posting. I'll summarize here. First off, our dear friend, HA, from Guatemala visited us. I think he is my long lost brother or something. He even "fits" with our family, having a name with H, don't you think? We met HA back in 2005 when we traveled for a Christmas trip. HA was recommended by a friend that had used his services before. He works for a travel agency based in Antigua, Guatemala. Over the years, he has become a true friend to me and my family. He came to the US for a conference and then to our area for a visit. Lots of fun! There was, of course, swimming with the girls.

A trip to Dallas, a visit to the Sixth Floor Museum (JFK memorial and museum), and a tour of the NEW Cowboys Stadium. I didn't capture any pics of the first two events, but I did remember my camera for the Stadium tour. That thing is awesome. We all laughed and said that the Cowboys tickets were so expensive that this was the only time we would be able to afford to go into the Stadium.

Yes, those are people on the floor of the Stadium. Yes, I know they look like ants. While we were on the opposite side of the Stadium, we were on the top row on the second level/tier of seats from the Stadium floor when taking this picture.
For taking this picture, we were standing in front of the big windows you can see on the opposite end of the field (the field is a mirror image of itself or symmetrical in terms of the layout) so again, we were only just above the second level/tier from the Stadium floor.

HA accompanied us to church on Sunday morning where he met some of our dear friends, then a bit more shopping, and then off to a Rangers Game, thanks to E, J, and Z.
HV, and HM, and Z played some games in the kids area (thanks, E, for the tickets for that too).
He might be small, but that boy CAN hit!

I told HA that he was able to finish out his trip to the US watching his favorite US sport, baseball (even though it wasn't his favorite team).

HA began his journey back to Guatemala on Monday morning. We began to rest up and recover after 3 days of action packed fun with our special friend, HA. Thanks for spending time with us. We really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again--SOON!
