Yep! You read it correctly. HG's case is FINALLY back in the Court. Yippee!! Praise God! NOW, we can finally begin this crazy adoption! Time line? Not sure, but I do hope that it will be soon. Here is a current listing of prayer requests for the process:
1. Praise that the file was finally submitted! God is good!
2. Pray that the officials of the Court will have their hearts softened, acting in the best interest of HG, processing her case quickly. I'm quite certain that there isn't a dwarf in Snow White named Speedy, but we sure need one in this Court!
3. Pray that God would continue to surround little HG with His angels. I pray that these angels will protect her physically and mentally. If you haven't ever adopted, it's odd to know that YOUR child is not with you. You cannot account for her daily happenings. You can't account for how she feels today. I find myself often "filing" those sort of thoughts away, not thinking about them simply because I can't stand to wonder. I'm a fact girl. I want to KNOW, not guess. I think about HG all of the time. I just can't allow myself to think about her day to day life.
4. Pray that God will continue to bless our family as we try to follow His will in this journey.
