I was so excited to receive an email today from HG's preschool director. She wrote me a sweet note and sent some pictures from their Day of the Child celebrations on October 1. Oh my sweet girlie! We all opened the pictures together today after school on the computer. HM said to me, "Oh, Mommy. I miss her so much." I know, pumpkin. I do too.
Yes, I know HG isn't wearing her glasses or her patch in these pictures. While she is encouraged to wear them everyday and will do it on some days, she does refuse on other days. We do not think that something is wrong (glasses are wrong prescription, they hurt her, etc.) but simply that she is refusing to wear them because she can refuse to wear them. Sort of like a rebellion thing. She didn't do this with us, but I think she is still a bit confused and frustrated and wearing (or not) the glasses is one thing that she can control. HV told me today that HG WILL wear her glasses when she comes home to us. Ha! I told her we would work on it and see.
Their pinatas always make ours look so pathetic, don't they?!
