Caution

The definition of caution according to my dictionary: alertness and prudence in a hazardous situation. Yep, I get it. This weekend, the time "expired" for any entity in Guatemala to appeal the sentencia from the Appeals Court. No filed one (this has also been referred to as a Constitutional Injunction in some of my posts)! Yippee! And so, we will proceed with caution. While the situation isn't necessarily hazardous, I could become hazardous if this doesn't hurry! We are actually waiting for one piece of paper to be returned from an area that is a bit of a jog from the City. I'm told it's like sending something via certified mail with a return receipt--we're waiting for the return receipt. It SHOULD be back this week. Then, we can get the certified copies we need of this sentencia to proceed both with the US Embassy and with the PGN (attorney general's office). I'm cautiously optimistic that once we can get this rolling, it will be quick. Lord, I hope so.
THANK YOU for your prayers. We need them. The children need them. Please keep praying for the things I listed a few posts ago. You can scratch off the Constitutional Injunction one because we survived that one!
Hang on, HG! We're coming, baby. We'rd coming.
